Relating to Sleep

You really need it, most of us do NOT get enough.  It is important to try and maintain a steady sleep pattern.  It's best to go to sleep and wake each morning at the same time from day to day.  Sudden or abrupt changes in your sleep pattern are thought to be possible trigger to the Cluster Cycles themselves.  I am not entirely sure how true this is, for me anyways.  It seems more like that when my sleep pattern changes naturally, it is an indication that I may be entering a Cluster Cycle and is merely asymptom as opposed to a trigger for the cycle.

The only sleep aids I would recommend are Melatonin or one of the various forms of Valerian.  Both are natural and widely available at many stores including most grocery stores.  I find it best for myself to not use sleep aids of any kind unless absolutely necessary.  I have found many sedating type drugs or even marijuana can trigger an attack when in an active cluster cycle, although with this Hydration Therapy, it seems not to be as much of an issue.  When I do occasionaly use something, it is 10 mg of Melatonin.
